Inspired Writing with Horses – Writing Workshop

A writing workshop on Sunday, October 8 from 1pm to 6pm

Horse

This is a special afternoon at wonderful Mystic Waters Ranch in Langley, located at 3438 205th Street.

Why Horses

Horses have a solid connection to the earth, they communicate non-verbally and they interact with each person who enters their space based on the energy which that person brings into their space. When we meet these magnificent animals, what can we learn about ourselves and about how to write about the characters of people in our stories?

  • Brenda Brown of Mystic Waters Ranch will be joining me to talk about, and demonstrate, how horses communicate. Brenda has many years of experience in working with horses and is an Advanced Certified F.E.E.L. (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) Facilitator and Trainer. You can find out more about her and her work at mysticwatersranch.com

Why The Workshop?

Read the blog post about my experience with horses at Mystic Waters Ranch and why I decided to hold the workshop.

The Workshop

Join me at the ranch for an afternoon of writing inspiration. You will meet the horses and experience how they communicate, receive writing prompts to do some writing in a safe and supportive space and, if you wish, share your writing.

I invite you into a safe and supportive space to gather and write, taking the time for yourself and for that inner wisdom that whispers to you from deep within.

  • Note: This is NOT a critiquing group. You do not need experience as a writer to participate in this workshop. All levels are welcome!
*While there will be many opportunities to share, please know that personal boundaries are deeply respected within this circle. Sharing is always optional!
