Intuitive or expressive writing pays no attention to grammar and is not meant to be analyzed or critiqued. It simply expresses what is in your heart.
Intuitive writing can be fun, serious or irreverent — or whatever is in your soul. There is usually a wide variety of reasons why people join a workshop.
I have been in intuitive writing groups where individuals have dealt with major life decisions such as whether to have a child or retire. Some individuals come to explore their life journey and gain insight into their lives. Others come to release their creativity. And then there are those who know they have to be there but are not sure why. All are welcome.
Writing prompts, music and poetry are used engage your subconsious. My role as facilitator is to create an atmosphere of safety for any sharing — note that sharing of writing is optional.
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing
and rightdoing there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.” ~ Rumi
